THE AimstarFitness Protein Shake


Bananas can be a big no-no on a low-carb diet. This recipe uses only a small amount to keep the overall carb count low.  If you don’t want to use banana, omit completely or substitute ½ cup frozen blueberries or strawberries (omit the peanut butter if using berries).


  • 8 oz. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • ½ cup unflavored Greek yogurt
  • ¾ scoop vanilla or chocolate-flavored protein powder
  • ¼ banana, cut into chunks and frozen
  • 1 ½ tablespoons all-natural peanut butter
  • Crushed iced


Blend all ingredients in blender until banana and peanut butter have been completely combined. Serve in frosty glass and enjoy!
